The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has announced a total of 4460 vacancies for Constables and Sub-Inspectors (SI) posts. The authorities released the official notification on 14th April 2024 announcing the online registration dates for the released vacancies. Candidates are invited to submit their RPF Application Form 2024 from 15th April 2024 at the official website www.rpf.indianrailways.gov.in. Only the candidate who fulfil the necessary RPF eligibility requirements is eligible to apply for the relevant posts. Candidates can apply online for RPF Recruitment 2024 online mode through the official website of www.rpf.indianrailways.gov.in. Step 2- On the homepage click on Apply and tab on ‘Create an account’.

Step 3: Register on the recruitment portal by providing your basic details, including your name, and contact information i.e. mobile number, and a valid email ID. You will receive a registration ID and password.

Step 4- Log in to the portal using the registration ID and password.

Step 5- Fill the application form with all the required information, including personal details, educational qualifications, and other relevant information.

Step 6- Upload scanned copies of documents such as your photograph, signature, and any other necessary certificates in specified file size and format requirements.

Important Instruction for Photograph and Signature

• The candidate’s recent, clear passport-size photograph should be in JPEG format, taken against a plain white background, without wearing dark glasses and/or a cap.
• The candidate’s signature should be in JPEG format and written in running handwriting.
• Train travel pass requests for ST SC candidates must include a PDF image.

RPF Application Fees 2024

The application form will only be accepted by those candidates who have paid the specified application fees as per their category. Candidates belonging to the general and OBC categories have to pay Rs.500/.

RPF Eligibility for Constable and SI Posts

For Constable Posts- Candidates who fall in the age group of 18 to 28 years and have completed their 10th/matriculation from a recognised school can apply for RPF Constable vacancies.

For Sub-Inspector Posts-Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and falling in the age group of 20 to 28 years are eligible to apply for SI posts.
