Grand Canyon University showed me how important it is to understand both the pedagogy of teaching and developing rapport with students to help them succeed academically. My professors provided valuable information every time I stepped into the classroom, and I know that they did as much as they could to help prepare me for such a difficult career as an English teacher. Cross referencing data and student needs to modify instruction and understanding that students need a truly inclusive, welcoming environment to create a solid foundation for learning has allowed me to see teaching not just as a fulfilling career, but a purpose to help every student that steps into my classroom. Grand Canyon University inspired me and the small class sizes allowed me to thrive and gain a lot of perspective for my major through intense discussions and close communication with my professors.

Grand Canyon is a great school to attend. They offer online course to obtain your masters and credential. This is helpful with flexible hours. I am currently a full time 1st grade teacher and life can get busy. Teachers in the program are very helpful and show that they care to be there for you in your journey!
