3. My Fault

Juice WRLD "My Fault" (Official Audio)

Juice WRLD was no stranger to aggressive, high-energy diss tracks, but he also had many softer songs. 2017’s My Fault is a regretful self-examination wherein the rapper thinks back on a relationship and realizes the roles that he and his ex played in its demise.

It’s a surprisingly gentle and vulnerable track, one that helped fans see that there were emotional layers to his music that they might not have noticed before.

4. Used To

Juice WRLD - Used To (Official Audio)

Used To is the next stage in Juice WRLD’s saga of a broken heart, a point in which he is finally moving beyond despair to numbness. This comes through in his subdued delivery, which features a dampened energy that strikes a contrast to most of his work.

He has also come to realize the part he played in their breakup and the ways he hurt his ex. Though the pain has lessened, he continues to cope with drugs.

5. Cigarettes

Juice WRLD - Cigarettes (Official Visualizer)

Cigarettes languished in production for several years before finally being released in 2022 on Juice WRLD’s extended posthumous album, Fighting Demons.

6. Conversations

Juice WRLD was never shy about his struggles with drug addiction, a topic he explored in the single Lean Wit Me, which was featured on his debut album. The song was intended as a declaration of solidarity with others experiencing the same issues with substance abuse.

Arranged over a sample of Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It by Dem Franchize Boyz, the track alternates between rap and singing from Juice WRLD himself. The accompanying music video depicted the rapper’s struggles with addiction and ended with a message from the National Drug and Alcohol Treatment Hotline.

8. Hear Me Calling

Juice WRLD - Hear Me Calling

The 2019 release Hear Me Calling is an upbeat track about finding your soulmate and hoping that they will heal your pain. It’s another highly vulnerable song, but one that is happy and optimistic rather than melancholy.

In this one, Juice WRLD shares all the excitement he feels at the start of a new relationship and the hope that this is finally the one. It might not be a typical topic for hip hop, but it’s certainly a relatable one.

9. Wishing Well

Juice WRLD - Wishing Well (Official Music Video)

Wishing Well was released in 2020, a grim but hopeful track about drug use and turning your life around. In it, Juice WRLD describes how he feels trapped in a cycle of substance abuse, anxiety, and depression, one that he desperately wants to escape.

A sliver of hope runs through the song as he looks forward to getting clean to make his mother and fans proud. However, a reference to Percocet, one of the drugs that would lead to his death, is now considered uncannily prophetic.

11. All Girls Are The Same

All Girls Are The Same

Heartbreak and dysfunctional relationships play no small role in Juice WRLD’s discography, and one of the biggest was 2018’s All Girls Are The Same. As with many of his songs, this references his alcohol addiction, his typical response to trying to cope with the breakdown of relationships.

12. Hide

Hide

Juice WRLD got the chance of a lifetime when he had the chance to contribute to the soundtrack of 2018’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. 13. Fine China

Future, Juice WRLD - Fine China (Official Audio)

Whenever they try to break out of the relationship, one of them relapses, starting the cycle anew.

15. Burn

Juice WRLD - Burn (Official Music Video)

In some ways, Burn seems to be a song of despair as Juice WRLD reflects on his addiction and wonders if he was cursed from birth to be a slave to drugs. In his quest for truth, he realizes that fame and money cannot solve these problems and he has to look within himself. Sadly, it was released in 2020 after the rapper lost his battle with addiction, making it seem, as with many of his other tracks, like an omen.

16. Legends

Juice WRLD - "Legends" (Official Audio)

Legends took on an eerily prophetic tone in the wake of Juice WRLD’s death in 2019. In the song, he references the superstition of the 27 Club—the urban legend that musicians are likely to die at that age—and says “We ain’t making it past 21.”

The lyrics referred to rappers XXXTentacion and Lil Peep, who died at ages 20 and 21, respectively. The next year, Juice WRLD would die from a drug overdose only six days after his 21st birthday.

17. Moonlight

Juice WRLD "Moonlight" (Official Audio)

While most of Juice WRLD’s discography seems to focus on his struggles with addiction and his desire to escape the cycle of constant relapses; Moonlight takes things in a different direction.

18. Fast

Juice WRLD - Fast

Juice WRLD released Fast on his second studio album in 2019. The song is a reflection on the rapid changes in his life since he became widely known as a rapper and how it seems as though the world is moving at a breakneck pace. 19. Robbery

Juice WRLD - Robbery (Official Music Video)

The 2019 release, Robbery, was one of Juice WRLD’s major successes, an emotionally-driven song about heartbreak and acceptance. It hit the charts at number 27 and became one of his most-streamed tracks on Spotify.

Sometimes described as emo rap, the melancholy song compares a failed relationship with being the victim of a robbery. As is a regular theme in his tracks, the rapper also describes how he dealt with the pain of loss by numbing it with alcohol.

20. Wandered To LA

Juice WRLD & Justin Bieber - Wandered To LA (Official Audio)

Juice WRLD had some amazing collaborations during his short career, one of which was Wandered To LA with Justin Bieber. The song was in the works for nearly three years before it was finally released; the rapper previewed it on social media as a solo track in 2018.

It wouldn’t drop until 2021, on what would have been Juice’s 23rd birthday. The song contrasts Bieber’s smooth, jazzy vocals with the rapper’s punchy verses in a result that is a pleasure to hear.

21. Come & Go

Juice WRLD ft. Marshmello - Come & Go (Official Audio)

Juice WRLD’s collaboration with Marshmello wouldn’t be released until July 2020, seven months after his death. It was included on his posthumous album Legends Never Die and debuted at number two on the charts, one of his most significant successes.

22. Bandit

Juice WRLD - Bandit ft. NBA Youngboy (Official Music Video)

Bandit saw Juice WRLD teaming up with Young Boy Never Broke Again in what would be the last single of his career. Released in October 2019 just two months before the rapper’s death, the boastful duet asks what the definition of a bandit is; Juice WRLD concludes that his ability to steal women’s hearts fulfills that definition. The upbeat track was a hit, debuting at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

23. Autograph (On My Line)

Juice WRLD "Autograph (On My Line)" (Official Audio)

Autograph (On My Line) is one of Juice WRLD’s earlier releases, dropping in the summer of 2017. It features the rapper at his most aggressive and blusterous, denouncing all the haters who didn’t believe in him while boasting of his success.

Nevertheless, the track also makes it clear that, despite his hard-hitting exterior, he always cared deeply about how people perceived him, both before and after he made it big.

24. Sometimes

Juice WRLD - Sometimes (Official Visualizer)

Sometimes is a brooding track reflecting on the rapper’s struggles with substance abuse and his thoughts whenever he fell back into using. The song was recorded on December 2, 2019, his 21st birthday.

25. Rich And Blind

Juice WRLD - "Rich And Blind" (Official Audio)
